Description: Oscars Bar and Grill is a vibrant restaurant on the High Street in Cowbridge, Wales, popular with a young and lively crowd. With a buzzy caf��-style atmosphere, big picture windows and bright red accents, Oscars is a chic and friendly place perfect for morning cake-and-coffee breaks, lunch or dinner with friends and after-work cocktails with colleagues. The menu is international, and we love the flash fried squid served with an orange salad and salsa verde; the Welsh rib-eye steak grilled with garlic and parsley butter; and the home made veggie burger with chips and a garden salad. Oscars Bar and Grill also has a kids' menu as well as an excellent wine list.

The staff are very good and are very welcoming. The food is consistently good but I believe they could do better and really steal the crown on any other Vale eaterie. I like to eat here at least once a month and always plenty of choice on the menu. An excellent lunchtime rendezvous. More

My husband and I have been here a few times and the food has always been good. They have a smallish menu but that is good - I never trust a restaurant that has too many dishes! More

Used to visit regularly but hadn't visited for a while and was not disappointed to see that the food and service was just as fantasic as always upon stopping for lunch. I really like Oscars I've only ever popped in for coffee but I'm always greeted with a smile and a welcome. I decided to book for dinner and I'm so glad I did.
