just got back from alvor.spent 2 nights eating in ruccula.the food was fantastic and the service superb.claudia,paulo and bella really look after their customers and the chef is amazing.make sure you make a reservation as they had to keep turning people away. more

The atmosphere and ambience created in this family owned restaurant is indeed very special. Restaurante Ruccula is very well known for it's house special, the lamb shank. All four dining opted for it and we were not dissapointed, the lamb simply fell off the bone, a result of Richard (Ruccula's highly talented chef) slow cooking it for over 5 hours!... more
