Service and quality of food were second to none. Our first visit and will not be our last. Treated as valued customers from arrival to departure and a photo oppurtunity behind the bar to boot.

I live in the area and often choose to eat here, as there is a wide range of choices in the menu and on the various blackboards dotted around. Whilst such a large building can get a bit noisy at times I have always enjoyed meals here and have found the service to be very good.

We took our grandchildren for lunch. The place is a bit 'dowdy' with dark decor but the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. They were willing to vary the menu a little to accommodate a slightly choosy small girl. All in all good food at an acceptable price. Better than a lot round here.

We have eaten lunch here a couple of times. Our most recent lunch was okay. We arrived at about 12 and had a look around the shop which sells lots of great stuff. As the sign says, we took a seat and were served pretty quickly. We ordered brie and bacon paninis at £6.50 each. They came with a bit... More

We didn't do the tour, we arrive, we were met by Wendy the Manageress, who looked after us like an old friend. Jack the young Barman talked us through the the array of ales on offer and suggested what would go with our food. I had the Bacon, Crispy duck, black pudding starter, be warned it is huge, utterly gorgeous,... More

The brewery tour was interesting and informative, that said unless you want to sit down for a meal there is no where to stand comfortably after you buy a drink from the bar. It's a huge building with no atmosphere.
