This is a family owned Italian restaurant. The food is of a very good quality and the menu choice is excellent too.

Recommended to Zinco by our hotel in Borehamwood whilst we were down to watch our rugby team play at Wembley. We went on a Friday night, the restaurant was packed and the atmosphere was nice and buzy. We were shown to are table which was booked for ten of us straight away, we all had ice cold large peroni's and... More
My mum and I had lunch here before we went to see Strictly Come Dancing. We had booked a table and when we arrived we ordered our drinks and looked at the menu. My mum ordered SALMONE ALLA GRIGLIA (Grilled salmon steak topped with homemade herbed butter, served with sautéed rosemary potatoes) and I ordered a PASTICCIO AL FORNO (Oven... More
Nice décor, very minimalist so not your average rustic or cosy Italian. This does mean that even as a large group, you’re unlikely to sit there for hours sipping away on the wine. The menu is well sized offering enough of a choice without being over bearing, some nice veggie options too. The food is consistently nice. Suitable for any... More
I visited Zincos with family and found it to be a sociable occasion with excellent food. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. A very pleasant experience.
Normally I will find fault in 99% of restaurants - sad but true - but the food here is really superb, so I have to keep coming back. Their pastas especially are fantastic and really al dente (I'm half Italian and I can't STAND it any other way) - try the Spaghetti alla Siciliana - probably the best I've ever... More
While we where on location in the area we where recommended to visit Zinco , we went for a business lunch and again on a Saturday night and found the food to be excellent. On the days we went we found the staff very friendly and they actually spoke Italian !!! i can only say that when we return to... More
I visited this restaurant with colleagues whilst working in Hertfordshire last week. We picked the restaurant as my colleague is a fan of Italian food and it was the closest Italian to our hotel. The restaurant was almost empty ( a few couples were eating out) when we walked in and we were greeted by an older man with grey... More
It's a pity that there isn't just a 'good' rating as Zincos wavers between very good and downright average. The food was very nice - although no separate children's menu so we ordered a starter sized portion of pasta for our daughter. The pizzas were large, hot and tasty. The service - not good at all. We were asked for... More
