We spent a very pleasant evening here. The staff were very friendly. Prices were very reasonable and the manager performed tricks to entertain his guests!
We went to this resturant on our first night - which in my experience is the night when you end up in a restuarant serving plain overpriced tourist food. Not in this case however!! The meze was excellent with true cypriot flavours. The resturant is right in the middle of Peyia and visited by local Cypriots, tourists and ex-pats. I... More
What a great place.. Located right in the middle of the town this restaurant is a must! we were a party of 10, sharing a 2 hour meze. The place was full and really had a holiday feel to it, many people there were locals (always a good sign) Highly recommended and good value.
The Peyia Tavern Meze is about 11 courses: Tzatiziki, Chips, Couscous, Salad, Chicken, Sheftalia, Chops etc. This is a not vegetarians! It is mainly grilled food and there is lots of it. it is 15 euros each and the wine is about 8 euros a carafe. The owner is very friendly and the service is good. It is an enormous... More
We ate here last night. The food is very good and well priced. We had the mezze for two which was 15 euros each. There would have been enough to feed at least four people, so don't choose this opion if you haven't got a large appetite. It consists of pork, chicken, lamb, sausage, beef stew, houlmi, chips, salad, bread... More
Went to Peyia Tavern on 7th. October (having not been able to get in on 6th.). The food was simple, but freshly cooked, and a well paced Meze, with the meat dishes coming one by one. The Meze was good value, the only slight question was that the meat was almost all just simply grilled, so left me feeling that... More
Having read the reviews I wanted to try this, we had lamb which was flavorful very crisp yet not at all dry. Village salad was lovely, village wine is a definite must so much nicer than some we had on the trip. As a vegetarian I had halloumi which was perfectly crisp and soft not too salty and very moorish.... More

It was ok, but it had a sort of production line feel to it, and none of the dishes was particularly outstanding. For example, one of the courses was a piece of chicken squashed flat and grilled, with... More
I was a bit disappointed with the food after reading some of the reviews. It was ok but nothing special. We had the Meze and, although there was a lot of it, I think that the quality was sacrificed for the quantity, I would rather have had it the other way round. The service was fine and staff were pleasant.... More
