  "We stayed in the lodge above this beautiful pub for 3 nights, and ate here for breakfast each day and in twice in the evening. The food was good, the place was clean everywhere we could see (so I presume the kitchen is too) the food choice was good, Pie night was really we good on the Wednesday...." But what really made the our whole stay was the staff, Charlotte, Danny, Aimme and James inparticular were so attentive and alway made time to chat about our time tracing our family tree, something most people don't find interesting, I would say if they felt the same they hid it well!   "Tucked away down a back ally .. Probably the best pub in Canterbury! Beer brewed onsite and the staff and customers realy know their beers. They also stock fantastic wines. Dont miss this place if you are in the area."
