We are looking for a beach rental for next summer, 2009, probably early July. Would like to be right on the beach between Newport and San Diego area. We will be a party of approximately 11-13 family members adults and children. We want a nice, clean place, preferably a house or condo that will either sleep 11 or two places next to each other. If you have any suggestions or have stayed in a nice place we would love to hear about it.

I would simply recommend to go to VRBO.com and start looking. Surely something will come up, although few houses will sleep that many. If you don't need to stay RIGHT on the beach, your options will open way up. It's not like the east coast where there are abundant houses on the beach. In California it's very different.
