Tuscany rental |

This lovely, rustic tuscan home is on a hillside that overlooks olive groves, beautifully typical tuscan landscapes and on a clear day you can see Brunelleschi's duomo in Florence. We discovered this place through a friend and contacted the owner who is as lovely and hospitable as this property. The apartments vary in size, ours was a small one called the Tinaio. They rent by the week, much like houses do. We did not have a car and had to walk to the nearest town and take public transportation into Florence. I would recommend renting a car. You can park the car on the outskirts of Florence which is about 10 minutes by car. The bus is ok, but not the best idea when returning at night. She does have a website, and make sure you type in "net" because there is another one by the same name. Her website is www.ilcasalone.net. I will definitly go back.
