I am traveling to Dublin from Glasgow in 2 weeks time with Ryanair and my nightmare partner has accidentally put his passport through the wash! The passport has fully dried out now and the pages have turned sort of crispy. The photo id page is fine however a small part of the corner has slightly lifted. To me it looks fine but my mum has worried that he may not be able to travel.
I am flying with Ryanair and checking in online so passports will only be checked going through airport security where usually its just a glance and a check of your boarding pass.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do? I know a passport is not needed for travel to Ireland from the uk however Ryanair require a passport to fly with them.
