Currently, when you look at your own contributions, any pending reviews are shown with a "pending" designation on this page: http://www.tripadvisor.ca/members-reviews . But although the date submitted is shown for published reviews, it is not shown for pending reviews.
We all know that when you're waiting for something, it seems to take forever. If I was just relying on my own memory, I would swear that my review which is currently pending was submitted well over two weeks ago. But in reality, it hasn't even been two weeks yet. (Luckily, I made a note when I submitted it. And of course there is that confirmation email from TA - unless I deleted it.)
TA might ease the pressure on staff a little by displaying the date that pending reviews were submitted (perhaps in italics, to differentiate it from the dates on the posted reviews). That way, TA members don't have to rely on their fallible memories to see how long they have been waiting - they can just look at the contributions list and get the real date, which is probably not as long ago as they think.Edited: 30 April 2012, 17:04
