In April we had a very unpleasant experience with a car reservation in connection with a late evening flight to Barcelona. The reservation was made via Vueling with their own car rental agency Centauro. They were supposed to wait for us at the airport (as a matter of fact, we learned later that they a not at all at the airport, but in the Barcelona area), but nobody showed up and we waited for one hour and a half in the night. Nobody was answering on the phone. We had to get a taxi to the hotel. Next day, we learned that they closed their office before the plane was scheduled to arrive. We has to go by taxi to the rental office, where we got the car, were sold such exotic additional insurances as window breakage and flat tyres. We were scheduled to leave Barcelona with the Vueling early morning flight a couple of days later and were told that it would not be possible to return the car as agreed and scheduled since the rental agency would not open before 07:00 h in the morning, despite the fact that the flight we booked was scheduled to leave at 06:45 h with check-in at latest one hour earlier. Therefore, we had to return the car already one day earlier, since we did not want to leave the car - obviously at our risk - open and with the keys on at the airport parking, as Centauro suggested ! 100 € in taxi fare ! In short: those guys are complete cheats.
I complained, but no reaction. Keep off Vueling and Centauro !
