Antigua All Inclusive Resorts |
|
Hi John This is a very difficult question to answer ,as it all depends what you are looking for. The resort you are looking for is: Adults only or kids allowed? Budget? Time of travel/special occassion? Active or romantic resort? Secluded location or close to action? Beach important, pool important, entertainment important-what are the priorities? There are a few AI resorts , most are great- but for different needs. I am sure a lot of regulars on this board can assist you once you answer the above. Kind regards

Hello antigua-creole, Thanks for your help. I apologize, I should have given a little more information. This is going to to be a group vacation. My family and a few close friends usually do a Big group vacation every other year. This past April, we went to Cancun Mexico and stayed at the Riu Cancun. It was within walking distance to all of the clubs, restaurants, and shopping outlets. Alot of the people in our group would like to go to Antigua in Early Spring 2010, so I am doing my research now. We are looking for a pretty nice All-Inclusive resort that is priced fairly. We very much enjoyed our resort in Cancun, the only downfalls were only domestic beer and the entertainment was not up to par at all. This was our first All-Inclusive, prior we had only done cruises. I know that i was told that you can not compare the entertainment between an All-Inclusive and a Cruise Ship. Some amentities that we would enjoy: Beach Front All-Inclusive Resort 24 Hr Room Service (not a big deal) Vast Variety of food Good Liqour and imported "American Beer" if possible Variety of pools (including swim up bars) rooms with decent balconies close to nightlife and shopping (but not required if resort makes up for it) Our group usually consists of anywhere from 30-50 people. Thanks again for your time and any helpful suggestions you can provide! :) John

Jolly Beach Resort ticks a lot, but not all, of your boxes. I can't think of anywhere on the island that covers them all. In particular, there's a lot less night life than you'll find somewhere like Cancun, but with 30-50 in your group, you can make your own.

Check out Blue Waters. We just stayed there at the end of May and loved it. We did All-inclusive with them and it was well worth it! Food was great and so were the drinks! We loved the hotel. If you have any questions, let me know!

I would say jolly beach ticks a lot of your boxes BUT it is not luxurious by any means but very good value for money and on a gorgeous beach
