Hi. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a tour company. I am going to be there in Feb. 2009 and have from about 11-7pm to do excursions. I hate to pay the cruise ship prices. Any ideas or suggestions for tour companies? Also, is anything accessible from the ship dock? Thanks :)

If you want to avoid the masses then avoid a tour company. We are a small island and there are only a few tour companies. The cruise ships use them all. When 2-3 ships are in, our island is overcrowded. We go from 14k people to 20k+. It is not fun unless you know what you are doing and where you are going so it is wise to plan.

What do you want to do? Our island is best for diving and windsurfing and eco tours. Please advise more details.

What is an eco tour?

Also, could snorkeling and the donkey sanctuary be done in one day, do you think? Is the sancturay far from the cruise ship terminal? Would renting a car or scooter be the best way to accomplish this?
