Can't say from my own experience about Varadero , however it is the north shore and looks out to a major shipping lane , so yes there should be.

I bring home a large bag of unreal sea glass every trip from Cayo Coco , even found red & black and some pieces that would blow your mind if you collect glass.

I've found very little sea glass along Varadero Beach. The better areas where we've found quite a bit though were in Cayo Guilleramo, Cayo Coco and Cayo Santa Maria. I also recall seeing quite a bit at Playa Esmeralda in the Guardalavaca area. We're not sea glass collectors but we like to bring home interesting small pieces of dead coral.

I have walked that beach from Xanadu to Kawama mant times and have seen almost no beach glass , there are also very few shells other than the tiny ones .
