I'll be in Mazatlan for a week in June with my wife and two young kids (3 and 6 years old). I've search other parts of this site for top attractions but was hoping I could hear from a few of you experts about hot spots for young kids. We will be staying at the El Cid Marina Beach hotel. What would you recommend if we wanted to make sure that we had a good mix of kid-friendly stuff to mix in our couple plans. Any help would be much appreciated!

The aquarium can take a day. Right next door is the city kids park. (Boske Municipal…phonetic spelling) That’s another day. My grand daughters just saw “Cat’s” at the theater. It was in Spanish, but they are bi-lingual now so that was not a problem, and I think kids would still enjoy it. North of you (There is a bus that goes close, or a $5 taxi ride) is “Maz Agua” water park. Another day shot there. Between that and just kicking waves and making Sand Castles………………they will be exhausted!

And at night, they can go ANY place you go for diner and drinks.

El Cid--the towers have nice pools for kids and you are welcome to go there.

If you think they've had enough sun, at the mall (La Gran Plaza) they have a place called Recorcholis where they can run around. It's like Chucky Cheese but a little better. My nephews love that place.
