“ Best bus route from Queretaro to Cuern- is Toluca an option? ”

Hello,
We are trying to avoid having to go through Mexico City, as we hear traffic can be pretty bad... Does anyone the best way for going from Queretaro to Cuernavaca? Looking at the map, it seems going through Toluca might work out.
I am also wondering how much it would be to hire a driver to take us from Qro. to Cuernavaca? If not too expensive - looking at options to save time. Any suggestions for drivers?
We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children.
