I had the most wonderful experience in Cuernavaca at the Spanish Language Institute!! The Spanish instruction was especially geared to my needs and was excellent! I stayed with a family in a lovely home. I had a private room and private bath, amazing meals (breakfast and la comida) and help from my family with any of my questions. My host family came to be my Cuernavacan family--they were kind, caring and took very good care of all of us who stayed there. It is easy to get around the city, by taxi, usually, cheaper by Ruta (bus). I had two instructors who were very good at teaching me (a non-Spanish speaker), and helping me understand Mexican culture.
