Hi All - has anyone who stayed at the RPLA booked an excursion to Chichen Itza through the hotel tour desk? Expedia has the tour for 57.50 each and i'm wondering if its cheaper or more expensive if we book through the hotel.
Thanks!!!

I am not sure what vendors will be in your lobby, but as long as this tour provides transportation, guide, lunch, admission etc. it seems like a really good price. I have been researching Chichen tours, and the cheapest I have found from a reputable company has been around US $80pp with most of them at around $100pp
Hi, we just got back from RPLA and did not do our trips through the hotel, as there are some great and safe tour ops over the road, the more trips you do, the cheaper is is for you.....go and enjoy, as we had a fab time and are going back

Hello, have stayed at RPLA many times and have found it is much easier to book all tours from the lobby. There are several vacation companies there in the lobby who whether you have used them for your holiday will be more than happy to book your tours , as will the concierge . This way if you need to make change for weather or some other reason they are on sight to answer any concerns. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. Jenn V.
