My son is very interested in finding out about the Playboy Casino as well as any others in downtown Cancun or the hotel zone. We were there in April and are planning a trip in October, so any updates would be appreciated. He loves poker! Thanks!

" They charge you $20 the first time you go and give you a custom Cancun poker chip. For future trips, you show the chip and do not have to pay from my understanding.". ( taken from an old TA reply ).

Personally I woud not go into a casino where they charge you to go in, and I have been to plenty. In the Kukulcan Plaza in the HZ there is a casino called Play City, though do not know what it holds. Good luck.

Yes, thanks, I know about the $20 charge and I would not pay it but my son would. It is lifetime, as you stated. When I was there in April I was told there were others in downtown Cancun and was also wondering if anyone else knew about it.

Believe me - I go to Cancun for the Beach and fun - not gambling, but my son is interested!

I don't believe the Playboy club nor any of the other casinos have poker tables as of yet. There was a rumor that the PBC was going to get a table (and if they did, that's likely what it would be, "A" table), but as I've not been recently I couldn't tell you for sure.

The casino is very small, with a roulette wheel, a craps table, and a few BJ Tables and several of the off brand slots. You pay for all drinks (as you order them unless they've changed it), etc. That's about it.

Interesting rumor.

Playboy Casino plans to open a second location in Plaza Forum where Caliente was. Either late this year or early next.

There will also be a "shuffle" of business's from La Isla to Forum including Planet Holloywood as La Isla makes room for department store expansions.

as far as I know:

Play boy casino is the only casino in cancun that has dealers, some friends love it, some others hate it (I live in Cancun) Im not a Casino fan so...

In downtown:

Dubai Palace (nice one)

Palace Casino (nice too)

In Plaza las amercias you can find one, not sure if is bingo or caliente the name of that one, they dont charge you to get into, cheap and good food and drinks and good Bingo :p the paper (dont know how is it called in english ) that you get to play bingo is about 20 pesos (2 usd) I dont know how to play but I always win !!! :

if you go to Plazas outlet (Paseos Cancun before) there is a Bingo, that is fun also.

In La gran Plaza is another bingo.

All of them was the regular casino stuff, but as far I know the only one with dealers is the Play Boy one.

4 hours driving from Cancun to Belize, you can find lots of casinos

It was a little confusing when we visited the PB Club, however they had only been open a couple of weeks and hadn't worked out many of the kinks yet. We found it interesting, but a little slow. Had decent luck (made a couple hundred each night we went), but only played Blackjack.

Are the drinks free when you're at the game tables?
