You will get a pretty good deal on your flight, roughly £38 for 400, we had a poster last week asking about Marlboro red's, and they were slightly cheaper in the airport...but i am convinced just after passport control there was a small shop that sold them and drinks etc. but others say they hadn't seen it...what brand are you looking for as US brands are more likely at the airport it self

Yes there is a duty free shop in Cancun after passport control, it`s in the luggage claim area. Don`t know what kind of ciggies they have though.

There was discussion recently on this, look back a little. There is a duty free shop upon arrival at terminal 3, but not at terminal 2. Depends which one you arrive at. You may want to check with your airline first.

Anyone know of the liquor prices at the duty free in terminal 3? Or where you can get the info ahead of time?

I always buy J&B or Dewars scotch.....$17 and Stoly vodka..........$14 on arrival. I noticed Crown royal was cheap............$38 for 2 liters, also Kahlua around $10 for a liter.......didn`t really check other prices. I buy going in so I can pack it in my checked luggage for return journey as we have to change planes

Elmo, I'm planning on going lite and only doing a carry on - so does that mean I can't buy the alcohol at the duty free shop on my way back to the states - I do have a layover in Pittsburg. Your response or anyone that knows the answer would be appreciated,

If you have a layover and do not check a bag, you will not be able to bring liquids on the plane with you.

If it is a non-stop flight, you are allowed. (duty free liquids only, as that is considered "safe" being purchased at the airport's secure area)

Remember the whole state is duty free but the airport does have good volume prices

Some find good deals in PDC and Cancun
