Hi,
Just wondering, does anyone know what time the buses stop running up and down the hotel zone?
I was thinking of using them to get back to the Riu Caribe in the early hours instead of a taxi.
Cheers

It says in top questions on the right side of this page the buses run 24/7.
Really, that's great.
Why do people bother with taxis then....seems strange when so many people complain about getting ripped off.
Thanks for the quick reply.

One thought: If you've got "stuff" (ie. groceries) with you, then taxis might make sense.
Sorry, didn't follow your thinking...I was speaking of the general question and not the specific time. Another reason is that some people are lazy and want to be driven right up to the door of their resort.
Sorry bk_t1...only joking.
I'm glad the buses run 24 hrs. I'll use them all the time. Although I do recall the drivers would pull away when they were ready......regardless of whether you were ready....lol

Maybe because they are not comfortable riding public transportation. Or they don't want to risk missing their stop - easy enough to do when sober let a lone with a couple cocktails in you. Or, maybe they don't like waiting. While the buses do run 24/ 7 the later into the night/ early morning, their frequency slows down
Thanks, I'll bear that in mind.
We did take a taxi back from Coco Bongos once. It was about 4.00am & I didn't realise the buses were still running.
