Where is the nicest and reasonably priced places to eat seafood? I want to go somewhere for an anniversary meal and dont mind paying around £100 ($200 ish) for a meal and drinks where I can get nice fresh oysters and possibly crab or lobster. I have found a few good reviews for places on here such as captain's cove and puerto madero but can't find any websites with a menu and prices. Am I wishful thinking that we can get a decent and special meal at that price? Any feedback welcome :)

Look on here: It shows prices. Go to Puerto Madero - it's very nice.

I like Mocambo's over Captain's Cove.

crank1982,

Welcome to TA! Just as an FYI..... the lobster you will get anywhere in Cancun / Puerto Madero is warm water lobster and (imo) not nearly as good as the lobster from New England (Maine) in the USA. That being said, other seafood options can certainly be found in the price range you referenced.

Cheap seafood in Cancun, to me, is catching your own, and having the resort cook it for you! Okay. To be honest, I may spend $200 US for 3 - 4 dinners out. JMHO. BTW, Sunday brunch at the Captains Cove is very good, and about $15 US. You can visit the two crocs in the back - Pancho and Willy - of which the bar is named after next door.
