Casual clothing is fine just about anywhere in town, but do bring layers of clothes. You'll probably find it colder than you think, especially since no one has central heating here (but you will have space heaters or fire places to heat up individual rooms). The most important thing is to bring good walking shoes with a crepe sole for walking on the cobblestones!

Quite cool for 2 days in late October (unusual), and more than a few cool days and nights already in early Nov this year.

Late rain on 24 and 27 Oct, but that's gone.

As always, layer.

I'm sitting on my 3rd story level - wearing jeans; a turtleneck long sleeve T; a flannel shirt and a serious hoodie.

Went to Marenostrum on Sat and wore a cashmere turtleneck and a wool sportcoat - quite comfy!

I just returned from three weeks in SMA, beginning 24th Oct. I had smartly packed a small umbrella, however, I left it in my room, and was caught in that shower.

As all have said, pack layers for changing weather. I had originally packed more for cold, than repacked leaning more to heat. I needed both, but wished I had brought one or two more light sweaters. By my departure day, Friday, it was getting chillier and some people were really feeling it.

have a good trip, Mariados

San Miguel gets quite winding at night sometimes.

My 6500 ft sq house is 4 stories vertical in the eastern hills.

Several microclimates for our herb/spice "produce".

Provecho.
