We are thinking of going there too, with Churchill Wild?

I understand it is warmer in July, but more bugs, and cooler in August, but fewer bugs.

But which do you think would have more sightings of bears?

Also which is more likely to be dry (Weather Underground has them both down for rain in the last 2 years!)?

Thank you if you can help

Bring mosquito netting. I went on a canoe trip up there years ago, and that was one item I wished I had taken along. Also, be prepared to see some of the most pristine land left in the world.

i was also on a canoe trip up there a few years ago as well, and i would recommend thing layers to allow for the change in temperature.
