This hotel is at 237 St Joseph Street Est. in the St. Roch district. This was the only option 2 months ago when I started booking. I needed the room as I am traveling with 2 teen girls, and one teen boy - everyone wanted their own bed.

Does anyone know anything about this hotel. Will it be close enough to walk to old Quebec. We arrive Saturday during the Nouvelle France festival, and want to take part in as many activities as possible, plus visit the museum of civilization and the Louvre exhibit. I have a rental car, but just want to park it for the 3 days we are here.

Being able to eat some meals in the apartment will hopefully save some money too.

Thanks

I don't know about the hotel itself, but as for location, you're fine. You have some walking along Charest Blvd to reach the Port where the Nouvelle France Festival and the 400th anniversary activities are taking place (it's in the Museum of civilization area). You can also hop on one of the many buses that will pass along Charest if you want to spare your legs. Just don't take the car, parking there is a nightmare (as will be traffic for the festival).

As for uppertown (Old Quebec), it's a steep climb to reach, you might consider again using public transit, as you are in an area where it's very easy to board a bus going uptown.
