I have a complicated question about staying in Blackpool!
Basics are that we're a couple with a 15 month old little girl - we're lucky, because she's very good and goes to bed without fail (mostly!) at 6pm each night.
We really want to take her to Blackpool to see the sights, however, her bedtime is really making things difficult in terms of accommodation.
Being a mum, I'd love to not have to endure a "Busman's Holiday" cooking and cleaning each day, therefore I'd love to stay in a hotel.
However, if we stay in a hotel, our daughter will be asleep in the room from 6pm, which will basically leave us sitting in silence until we either bore ourselves to death, or finally fall asleep.
The other option is self-catering, but looking around everywhere seems rather drab (and expensive for what it is!)... but at least with self-catering we would have a separate lounge/bedroom, so babs could go to sleep at 6, and we could have a glass of wine and watch tv etc.
I'm so stuck with where to chose, I'd love some input if possible?
If I could find a self-catering, nice apartment, not too expensive (we're on a budget, but who isn't?!) ideally with a BALCONY that would be amazing.
Does anyone have any ideas for us? Even hotels with separate bedrooms that would be great. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
