There are regular trains from London Waterloo to Farnborough Main. For times see www.nationalrail.co.uk.
Hi,
I love Farnborough Air Show - especially the Red Arrows flying over my house! It'll be the 24th / 25th July this year (public days).
Once you get to Farnborough Station, you'll find special buses laid on to get you to the Airshow. These will be VERY busy, but it's either them, taxis, or a 2 mile walk...
It's a fantastic day out, but don't forget the ear plugs!
thanks so much for your thoughts this will be our first time if we make it......if you ever make it to the states the show to see is Air Venture in Oshgosh,Wisconsin
thank so much for your reply and the link will surely check it out
You sound like an expert, but for the benefit of other readers. The biggest collection of American aircraft outside the USA is on display at Duxford near Cambridge; and the RAF Museum in Colindale, north-west London is a must-see for air fans.
NO just a fan, every year we try to plan our vacation around an airshow & or museum. Thank you for the tip will definately put on the things to do list.
