Hi, we are taking our kids (5-9)for day out in edinburgh and are after some recommendations from you all for child friendly restaurants around the centre that do nice food for adults too?

I would say go to the Lazio Ristorante in Lothian Road .

Not too far from the main drag and easily walkable with wee ones .

Ask any local for directions .

Great authentic Italian food at realistic prices and being real Italians they love having " bambinos " there .

Maybe Im a bit biased about the place because its owned and run by family of my wifes.

Tell them Angela Crolla from Glasgow told you about it .

Enjoy your day out.
