This summer, we are thinking to book either the Strathgarry B&B or the Rosehill Guest house (although the Old Mill Inn has caught our interest, too) in Pitlochry. Can anyone give an informed opinion about any of these accommodations?

The Old Mill Inn gets a bit of a mixed review on here and I have heard the same.

Strathgarry is right on the main street and there is a busy cafe on the ground floor underneath but the location is great.

The Rosehill is just set back off the Atholl Road and again is a great location.

Both the Strathgarry and the Rosehill are rated 3* by VisitScotland.

Personally as the Rosehill is in a slightly quieter location that would suit me but it is up to yourselves.

Thanks for the info; I was tending towards the Rosehill for the very same reason. Just wanted to compare which was of better quality (clean, comfortable beds, reasonably kept up) before making final decision. Has anyone had personal experience at either?
