Discounted Admissions.

There seem to be a few ways in which you can save on admissions to various attractions.

Pigsback have a number of offers at the moment.

I know Willow has just posted the Heritage Card as well.

Just wondering if we kept all the money offs on the one site.

Big thanks. This seems to be better than the Heritage card, am I right? Especially for us, who will be going to Limerick and the Burren.

At the moment, JoJo, yes.

I will warn you - check the expiry dates on the offers: they change from time to time. If there is no date on the offer, print out now and use later.

I would also check that site before you leave as well. There may be more offers.

You're soooo good bean. I joined Pigsback last year and it saved me. I also hope some future travelers will see this. Figured if I post on here it'll get it back up to the top again.

I just checked Pigsback yesterday cause I was looking for coupons. It seems they concentrate mostly on the Limerick area and I needed some for Dublin, Belfast, Giants Causeway. Oh well, gotta pay the price I guess....

Have a good one!

Darn. I just tried for Ailwee Cave, the Burren Centre and King John's Castle. Coupons expire before I visit: April 30, February 28 (hmm!) and this past December 31, respectively.

I looked at the Heritage Ireland website. The website does not say how much the card is.

JoJoKo, if you proceed to the application page on the Heritage Ireland website (http://www.heritageireland.ie/en/HeritageCard/ApplicationForm/) you will see a list of prices. The price per adult is 21 Euro. Depending on how many attractions you plan on visiting the card could be worth it.

Hi....going to try this again to see if anyone out there knows of any way to secure some discount coupons for "individual" attractions in the Dublin & Belfast areas.....

I checked out the Heritage web site and yes, the card is E21 for adult. However, I checked out the various "attractions/ sites" that apply and there aren't enough on the list (that I will be visiting) to make it feasible to purchase the Heritage Card.

I'm looking more for discounts to Guinness Storehouse, city tour of Belfast, etc....rather than heritage sites.

Can anybody out there help???

I recently tried to use a Pigsback voucher in TGI Fridays Blackrock that clearly said that it was usable Monday to Thursday for 20% off an early bird meal. When we presented it on a Bank Holiday Monday we had to go through 3 staff before the manager reluctantly decided to accept it.

We then had to go through a very loud explanatory lecture from the owner about it not being valid on a Bank Holiday despite the fact that it never said this on the voucher.

Not a pleasant experience from TGI Fridays in Blackrock.
