We went to Corralejo (Atlantis Palace) Dec '06 and whilst the first couple of days were a little disappointing, quite cloudy to start, a chill wind and a couple of very light showers, the rest of the week improved enormously with temps reaching 26 - 30 degrees. However, temps dropped at night and you definitely needed a fleece or cardigan. It was our first time there for a winter holiday and we enjoyed it so much we have booked for this coming December - can't wait.

There is a heated pool at Atlantis Palace but I'm not sure how warm it is as I'm afraid I didn't venture in. Atlantis Palace has a gym (open most of the day except for siesta time) including Sauna and steam room although these can't be used before 4pm which is when the pool is supposed to close. The gym closes at 8pm, at least it does in the summer months, may shut slightly earlier in the winter.

There are a few shops to wander around should it be too awful to sunbathe/swim but I'm afraid (my opinion only) they are not all that exciting.

Hope this helps and enjoy your holiday, whatever the weather - it's got to be better than here!
