The Guantanamo is one of the king of spains favourite restaurants here, He also owns a house here on the top of one of the cliffs overlooking Puerto Rico.
The Ayacamo restaurant just before the village of Mogan is also owned by the two Canarian brothers who own the guantanamo along with a third restaurant in Arguiniguin. They are the 3 best restaurants on the island in the reasonably priced ones for the good food and service you get.
Many places look scruffy here on the outside due to the heat and dust at times,
but you really can be shocked as it is a whole different story inside when you get over the doorstep.
All canarian restaurants i have never had anything at all to complain about here.
As they say if you want to know if any place is any good, look for where the spanish eat they will never eat rubbish even in there lowly cafe bars is good food.
