I want to hire a car from Alicante airport. Does anyone know a company which doesn't charge over-inflated prices for a full tank of petrol, or better still, lets you fill the tank yourself?

Europcar lets you fill the tank yourself, but the local companies are cheaper

Whom ever you rent from, be sure you check the car for ANY damage. Europcar charged me 300 Euros for for tiny (rust?) spot on a rental with over 25KM because I did not note it prior to rental. Hard to argue when you find out about it when you get home.
