All the waterparks have separate kids areas. We went to Silde & Splash last week and my 3 year old and 9 year old had loads to do. Slide & Splash reckoned to be the best for scarey rides, Aqualand nicer for little ones but Aquashow (Quarteira) is also good for little ones with kids pool and large wave pool too. Tried them all....I live here.

Have a good time and please, please, please keep smothering your little one in sunblock.

16 and 11 yr old boys loved aqualand. we were there from 10am to 5.30pm. still wasnt enough. plenty for everyone. (lovely pool for littleuns)

look out for special offers ( we were given coupons at the airport which saved us 20 euros - great bargain. people who booked through tour operators didnt have the 20eus reduction. free bus from opp Solaqua appts - couldnt be easier.

Just back from the Algarve and visted both Aqualand and Slide N'Splash last week. I'd have to say that Slide N'Splash is a bit more modern than Aqualand - the latter doesn't have a Black Hole type activity.

Both cost me €18.50 with tickets bought from the apartment reception. Bus to Slide from Albufeira cost €5 and Aqualand €4.50.

Both have areas for small kids which they will enjoy - shall pool, small slides.

dont know about slip/slide but the bus is free to aqualand - with quite a few pick up stops.

Hi Shozna,

I just returned from the Algarve (perfect holiday) and would definitely recommend the water parks for you and your daughter. I went to Aqualand which had fun for all the family. There were big slides with rings, mats and even a surfing one but also a big kiddies pool with little 'stegosaurus' slides and squirting fountains. Plenty of sun loungers everywhere, although you have to pay for them.

I would also recommend Zoo Marine, with it's dolphin, seals, sealions, birds of prey and tropical bird shows. The kids loved it (as did I)! There were swimming pools there for kids and adults too.

Hope you enjoy!
