what time does the PORTO metro wake up?

Hi, can anyone tell me what time the metro starts running?? we have a very early flight, need to be at the airport by 5.30 am (ouch)

Also, if anyone knows which metro station we need for Residencial Seculo on Rua de Santa Catarina that'd be fab!!

Last question promise, if the metro is not running and we decide to keep the hirecar, how unbelievably difficult is it to find Seculo?? Ive tried driving in downtown Porto before and am not keen to repeat!!

Hi!

-First metro arrives at airport at 06:45.

-First Bus (Line 601) arrives at airport at 5:10 but since it's the first service it leaves from Boavista at 4:48, not from Cordoaria. At that time, if you choose public transports i think the best is to take a Taxi.

The closest metro station to Residencial Século is "Marquês do Pombal", yellow line. From/to airport, you have to switch at "Trindade station".

If your option goes to car hire, getting to Século it's easy if you have a GPS. If you don't, just ask for "Marquês" and then "Rua Santa Catarina".

Yes your time at the airport is far too early for metro and buses. A taxi is the only way - I hope your hotel can assist in making sure you can get one for a 5am departure from the hotel.
