On the assumption that this is the 'busiest' forum for Greeks, can I please ask some advice ? We are visiting Kardamili for 2 weeks, but have a good 30 hours in Athens as well.
During our visit we will be preparing the same type of food that we are feeding our baby now - pretty much everything, mashed up ! He is a wee gannet. (Enthusiastic eater). The only thing he has turned his nose up at is avocado. So no big issues with what we will prepare, but what can we feed him whilst dining out ?
Our main concern would be the saltiness in many Greek dishes. What would Greek parents feed their 9 month old baby when visiting a taverna ?
