Thank you buhalid.
Your link to a Google Satellite Map worked fine.
But your directions lead me to the submersible bridge at the Loutraki (Adriatic) end of the Corinthian Canal, whereas Isthmaia is at the opposite (Aegean) end of the Canal. Also, the building you indicated is on the mainland side of the canal rather than the Peloponnesian side, and its roof outline does not seem to match the one pictured on Matt Barrett's page. So I was a little confused.
However, I have now studied the Google Satellite map in detail and scrolled to look at both ends of the Canal.
After carefully examining locations and building shapes, I suspect the place pictured at the bottom of Matt Barrett's webpage:

is actually the little building shown at the Eastern or Aegean end of the Corinth Canal on your Google map, just near the final little bridge across the canal at that end. This is also just near Isthmia so it is a better fit with the description given by Matt Barrett. I cannot see any of the oil refineries dianabiz talked about - the Google map shows them to be further North and well out of the way of the canal here. Even the national highway she mentions curves away from the Aegean here and leaves the area untouched. So if you go back to your Google Map, and scroll right to the Aegean (Isthmian) end of the Canal, you will see this cafe on the Peloponnesian side of the Canal, just on the left of the last little roadbridge over the canal before it debouches into the Aegean. It's set in a semi-rural area. No major industry nearby according to the Google Satellite map. This building matches the roofline and outline of Matt Barrett's cafe as pictured on his site. So I suspect this is the one I am after. That's my humble opinion anyway. But I'm still missing a name and address. Anyone?
