Hotel Helios is in Aghia Marina, not Aegina.

Indeed it won't be that lively during the weekdays, but it will be very nice at weekends.

I haven't been this year and things change from year to year, but I will try a briefing:

The best bar (on the best spot) is Barracuda Bar http://www.barracudabar.gr/index.php?lang=en. From early morning to late at night, right on the beach!

There are two big clubs Zorba and Leo. I won't recommend the later, for several reasons, but Zorba is very nice.

Another great place for cocktails (but not on a nice spot) is Obsession Bar.

If you miss a pint, there's always Mike's Irish Pub. I love this place!

Now, if you decide to go to Aegina Town:

There's a famous Bouzoukia place, Kanellas.

Inn on the beach, is a sea side club worth visiting.

If you like water parks, there is one but it is not very big. At night, there is live music at the restaurant and during the weekends there are special events. united-hellas.com/tourism/…restaurant.html

In general, when you go there go with the flow.

Ask around, see where the locals are going.
