I often went to a fun place called 'Child Planet', when my daughter was about 2. She absolutely loved it! :)
Child Planet is in Middelthunsgate, 5 mins walk from Majorstuen Subway-st., - it is located just a few mins walk from Norway's biggest tourist attraction; The Vigelands Park.
Child Planet is a small indoor fun-area for young children.
There is also a nice cafe where parents can conveniently relax with a coffee or tea, or a light-meal, whilst their little ones play.
They also used to sell babyfood, and they would heat up your babymeal/milk, if you brought your own food for your child.
You may like to visit: www.childplanet.no for openinghours and further information.
Child Planet was started in year 2000.
If you're a fan of sushi, there is a brilliant sushi & asian fusion-restaurant just 50 metres from CP, called Nodee. Highly recommended :)

Just a lovely short walk from CP, you will find the Vigelands Park, where there is a big fun play area for children of all ages. Within the park you can find The Oslo Bymuseum, which has a nice cafe with lots of toys and activities for children, it also has a lovely outside-area with tables, protected by charming old buildings and its very safe; perfect for children and families.
Inside the museum there is a costume and theatre-area with a small stage, great fun for children who may dress up in the different fun costumes provided :) I often visited this museum together with my daughter when she was younger. We had many fun and relaxing afternoons here, she loved to play on the grass with all the toys provided. It is a great place for children and adults alike :) She is now 10, - however she still loves coming here.
