Best communities to live in around Huddersfield? |
|
Huddersfield is like any other place,it as its bad areas, good areas and exellent areas,I was born and raised here. Huddersfield is blessed with fantastic, surounding countryside and moorlands, many villages can be found here,Marsden, the well known Holmfirth,Scissett,Flockton(which is high above Huddersfield and suffers with bad weather in the winter),Meltham,Holme,Emley just to name a few.All these villages have a strong community and are easily reached from Huddersfied town centre. There are a few areas that I personaly would avoid to live in,but please understand that this is only my own appinion and no offence is intended to the people who live there.Lowerhouses,Deighton,Brackenhall, this area as vastly improved in the last couple of years, parts of Dalton(Harp Inge),central Birkby(in desprate need of regeneration,as a strong Asion community) and parts of central Fartown were the red light area is and Peter Suttcliffe (The Yorkshire Ripper) struck. I hope this post as been of help. | ||||||
