Can you fly from Doolin to any of the Aran Islands? If not, which island would be a good day trip? I prefer quieter, less touristy, but we're going in November, so that might describe all three! Please advise.

Probably would describe all 3, but Inis Mor would have most tourists and facilities.
Flights are from Galway -http://www.aerarannislands.ie/ (no airport in Doolin) , just the ferry service.
This service normally ends at the end of October - but apparently intend to continue into November this year, although can be a little rough if the water choppy.
Year round service from Galway by ferry to Aran Islands.
Is there a ferry from Doolin to Galway?
As far as I know, just through the Aran Islands -
so take a ferry from Doolin to Aran Islands (using ferry link above) -
then take ferry to Galway from the island - using http://www.aranislandferries.com
Hope that this helps.
We visited Inish Oirr from Doolin. Our first choice was Inish Mor, but the ferry ride to and fro would have been longer than our stay on the island. We enjoyed the trip, but there wasn't that much to see. If I could wave a magic wand and do it again, I would have tried to rearrange our schedule to make the Inish Mor trip worth our while.
Be forewarned that the Doolin ferry schedules are unpredictable. Call the day before. Or travel from Galway. Remember that if you travel from Doolin, you have a long ride to Inish Mor.
you can't go wrong no matter which one you pick...i love them all three.....we just take the ferry over from doolin....inisheer took us about 30 minutes or maybe a little more....wasn't very long...., inishmaan took us about an hour or again, maybe a bit more....and i can't remember inishmoor time as that was over 5 years ago....
no matter which one you choose, they aren't touristy at all...inisheer is probably my favorite....like stepping back a few hundred years....no atms, no shops to speak off, but 3 pubs and 30 plus b&bs.....but what a day we had there.....
Ferry ride from Doolin: unpredictable, and bumpier than from Galway. As you said, November will most probably be less touristy. Unless your aim is to get away from it ALL, I would suggest going to Inis Mór, where you may visit very very old sites, bike, walk in the wind if you feel like it, have a good pint. Even an overnight stay, so you'd give yourself the chance of enjoying the place in the evening and at early morning: truly magical.
I was just in Doolin for 3 days last week. The ferries to the Aran Islands were not running at that time due to very turbulent seas. (Not sure if they were up & running by late afternoon). So, I really regret not taking a puddle-jumper from Galway to see those Islands.
The B&B innkeep or hotel concierge will know if the ferries are running.
Have fun!!
