I only think the Magic Kingdom park is open for the magic hours, and yes most of the rides are open then.

We have only used this one morning, because we are late sleepers all of us. But we tried it one morning an got the Hole family on to peter pan, after that we went for the elephant Dumbo, where the que line was so slow that we used one hour to que, and 2 minutes ride. And then the clock was passed 10:00

By the express steam train do You mean the little train with caracters on ?

The drive in the gate to the castle.

Every 1/2 hours I think. You will hear it if You are there then.

The Character Express is an interactive experience which goes up and down Main Street at certain points during the day.

If you want to ride the train that goes round the whole of the park then you need to wait for the park to fully open. The train station at Main Street is always really busy - try catching it at one of the quieter ones e.g. Discoveryland.

Hi Everyone - many thanks for all the helpful advice - just thought I would say that during the magic extra hours there are only 8 rides open - they are:

Peter Pan's Flight

Pinnochio's adventure

Carousel

Mad Hatter's Teacups and

Dumbo's flying elephants in Fantasy Land

and

Space Mountain

Flying rockets and

Buzz Lightyear in discoveryland

The other ride/lands are not open until rope drop at 10:00.
