I am going to Hayman with my boyfriend and we want the best possible weather (no rain!!!!) - we don't mind the heat, we just hate rain!

for Hamilton Island

Impossible to predict but I have been to Hamilton Island for the past 7 years in late October and it has never rained

Best months I think are September - October with November also being pretty good .. very warm and humid

December to March expect rain but April has also been pretty wet the last few years

TBH I would rather go when it was warm ... June and July the water is not that comfortable for swimming .. for me anyway

You are never going to be able to guarantee the weather no matter what month you go .. I have been visiting the Whitsundays for the past 14 years and rain has rarely continued for any length of time

It is more tropical with downpours and then the sun .. but you will always get someone who said they had bad weather

We went in May this year and the weather was lovely and warm .. shorts and T shirts all the time but the pool was too cold for me although my son and his family went swimming .. they said it was fine but a bit cold when you first got in

Check with Hayman Resort and see what month they recommend .. February is usually the quietest

June and July will be chilly. I went to Lizard island, the most northerly island in the reef and still had to wear a wet suit in August. Been to Hayman in October and the weather was fantastic. You might consider Lizard for the warmth and seems as if that resort is more up to date than Hayman. The certainly have received a number of poor reviews which would alarm me.
