Looking for a unique hotel in Prague
Save

hello All -

If you have suggestion for a unique or interesting hotel or place to stay in Prague I would appreciate the tips!

I will be traveling for the first time to Prague Mid-September for 4 days and would ideally like to be close to major sites, but want to really get a feel for the city. hoping to spend under $200 usd/ night.

Thanks!

Foster, Ive been to Prague twice and Im coming back for a third visit. Each time I stay at this place:

Hotel U Suteru

On a quiet street, but just about 100 yards from Wenceslas Square. Has lots of charm and the price is right. check it out.

would you consider an apartment as you can get some wonderful places right in the heart of old town - much better than a hotel

but if you want something unique then you need to look at places like the imperial - wonderfully deco - there are some wonderful deco, nouveau and cubist buildings in Prague, it would be unique to stay in one that was from that style/era,

Here is an interesting site that I found:

Nothing in Prague itself, though:-( But a few outside of Prague.

Otherwise, here is a unique hotel - the narrowest building in Prague:

the clementin is in a great location - right in the heart of old town but it does not look that unique to me going by the photos (apart from being the narrowest hotel and i dont know if that has the pulling power )

Just stayed at the Deminka Palace in July. Unique boutique hotel. A Tesco Express is conveniently located a block away to grab water, snacks, etc and a two block walk to IP Pavlova tram/ subway stop

And just one more! ARIA - music themed , boutique centrally located on Mala Strana under the castle, Petrin Hill,5 min. from Charlres bridge. Less touristy and quieter. Entrance to Vrtbovska Garden for guests with a hotel key. Best views of Prague from there.

Disclaimer: I was born and raised on Malla Strana- emmigrated to US years ago. Returning "home" twice a year.these days.

any more questions? Love to help! We will be there in September:)
