So, I am exploring the possibilities for getting from the International airport in Belize City to Cohune Palms resort outside of San Ignacio (Bullet Tree Falls)

The resort said they would arrange the transfer with stops at the zoo and the Heritage Center for $175 USD. Seems kind of high to me. Wondering about taking a bus from the airport to the zoo to the Center then on to Bullet Tree. Flight is supposed to get in around 1:30 pm. Figure 1-2 hours for customs\imigration, will we have enough time to do anything on the way to the resort?

It would be FAR CHEAPER to do a commuter bus to Belize City and from there jump unto a public transport bus to San Ignacio - about US$15.

From there get on a bus to Bullet Tree, about US$3.00 or a mini-bus, about US$5.00.

Check and walk about downtown San Ignacio and you will get lots of offers that you can look over. Take your time and and be sure to check into Eva's Restaurant for more guidance.
