My husband and I just used On the Go for our 2 week Egyptian tour. We had a hard time finding good information on them before we left, so I thought I would add our thoughts for those of you considering using them.

Overall, everything was excellent. We were met at the airport by a local rep who gave us our paperwork and a general talk about their company and Egypt on the way to our hotel. The tour guides spoke excellent English and were very knowledgeable and flexible if necessary. I would recommend them to a friend.

Be sure, however, when they suggest hotels that you look at reviews. Feel free to suggest alternatives that you would rather stay at. We did that for our Red Sea hotel and it worked out great. We did, however, do that for our hotel in Aswan. It was the Basma hotel which was supposedly 5 star but is not.

It's a big enough company that questions can be answered, problems taken care of, and itineraries changed if necessary without causing problems. The only thing I caution you on is to ask for a general itinerary early on. For instance, we didn't have our domestic flight information until we arrived in Cairo. Just ask them to send you the itinerary that they were planning on giving when you arrived. It's more specific than the original one they gave you. Also, they are hesitant to give times in advance because they are afraid to sound rigid. Just reassure them that you want a skeleton of a schedule just out of curiousity. You won't be married to it unless you want to be.

Don't hesitate to book with them - they're ligit and we had a great time.
