I would like to share some comments about my last tour - Luxor Egypt.

As usual I organize the travel by myself via internet, I have alreday abandoned Travel Agencies, I think they should chnage their name, they just sell prepared travel packages from big tourist companies, they are not travel agents.

So after some evening and night in front of the pc my family and I arrived in Luxor and it was fantastic, much more than we expected, monument are impressive and easy to access, people are very friendly, about that we hire a local guide, Aladdin, to assist us for most of our visit of the area, and this demonstrate very useful, he has the possibilities of organising many excursion in the area (see his website luxorguidedtours.com). I can say that he makes us feel even more friendly with the area, if your going there I'll greatly recommend to ask Aladdin a help for your tour (you can contact him at aladdinofegypt@yahoo.com), I have no doubt You will enjoy it.

We have just four days, so we had very few possibilities to see the sourring of Luxor, next time I'll like to take the opportunity to travel down to Assuan and then to Abu-Simbel, clearly self-organize travel no travel agencies!!
