Have read through the list on the Cuenca site but has anybody got any good eating places to tell me about and the costs for average meal?
Hi, in the center of Cuenca you have a lot of options for eating places. Close to Hotel Santa Lucia in the same street you can "La Baraca" (international mains and snacks, around $4), in calle Bolívar you can find "El Cántaro" (ecuadorian food, mains $4, lunch $2,20). There are more restaurants around Parque Calderón. Remember that many places close on Sunday.... Greetings!

Go to Raymipamba righ in the side of Calderon Park, 2 blocks from Sta Lucia. Ecuadorian & international food. Dishes go for USD 5 to 8. Another option would be Cafe Eucalyptus, at Gran Colombia Ave. 4 blocks from Sta Lucia, here you find a diverse variety of international dishes (around 180), they cost around USD 4 to 10.
