I will be going to tambopata research centre as part of my trip to peru later this year. I'm trying to figure out how much magnification I'll need to see animals and wildlife. This is in the context of camera zoom and binocular magnification.
So I am wondering how close do you actually get to wildlife in the amazon jungle; in particular the tambopata research centre region (for those that have been there). When at the clay licks, how close do you actually to the animals?
