Slovenia - Croatia - Bosnia Itinerary HELP

Hi,

My friend and I are planning a trip to this area over Christmas and New Years.

We will be flying into Ljubljana on night of 22nd and flying out of Belgrade on 4th January.

We would love it if we could have comments or suggestions on our planned itinerary. We would prefer to do it by public transport but could hire a car for part of the itinerary if it makes it easier.

22nd - PM arrive Ljubljana

23rd - Ljubljana

24th - Ljubljana (is this too many days in Ljubljana?)

25th - Bled (overnight or day trip?)

26th - Bohinj

27th - direct to Plitvice Lakes Croatia (otherwise Zagreb overnight)

28th - Plitvice Lakes

29th-30th - Bihac - Banja Luka - Jajce

31st - 1st - Sarajevo

2-4th - Belgrade

Any help on bus times - durations would be great too :)

Thanks

For the begining here is time table of departures and arrivals trains in Sarajevo Railway Station:

http://195.130.35.116/zfbh.ba/zfbhenx/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=56&Itemid=91

*** I must say, tommorrow starting STRIKE of railway workers. I am going to inform you on this topic when STRIKE will be finished.

Apply by e-mail

info@zfbh.ba

for free of charge tickets for IDALGO TRAIN which start next month. IDALGO TRAIN is more comfortable and it will drive passengers from Sarajevo to Mostar and vice-versa.

I hope the STRIKE will be finished very quickly.

Here is link to CENTROTRANS, the biggest Bosnian travel/transport company. But English version of their web. page doesn't work. Ask me, please, if you have problems with reading time table. I sent e-mail message to director-manager of the company to fix English version of their web. page.

Here is link might helpful for you, bus lines to all countries in the region in English and there is option to ASK QUESTIONS in English. Ask them to help you to plan your trip. Why not, you will travel paying to them.

Correction.

Sorry, name of new train is TALGO, import from Portugal. Much more comfortable for passengers.

It seems, concerning local newspapers, railway workers and Government will make a deal.

Next week passenger's transport will work, probably.

I think this is too many days for Ljubljana, and I suggest that you spend a night in Zagreb. It is worth to visit.. Also, you must try CEVAPI at the place called Zmaj in Sarajevo.. :)
